A beer permit for Vision Hospitality Group regarding the Hampton Inn hotel in Kimball has been accepted by the Board of Mayor & Aldermen during this month’s public meeting.
Vision Hospitality Group is based in Chattanooga and is owned by company CEO Mitch Patel, who founded the company in 1997. The company is partnered with numerous named hotels and inns across the United States, including Hampton Inn by Hilton, Holiday Inn Express, and Courtyard by Marriott. It was established under a foundation of growth and project management, with the founder himself having experience in engineering. Coupled with family ethics and values, he was inspired to develop and grow the business into what it is today, which currently manages up to 42 hotels across nine different states.
The permit provided is for the on-and-off premises that encompass the hotel. The property is located at 100 Hampton Drive. During the meeting, Mayor Rex Pesnell explained the permit, presented to the Board by Patel and hotel manager Angelia Burns, has been reviewed. According to Pensell, all looked well with the permit and information that was provided for examination. And upon the vote to pass the permit, all members of the Board but one voted for the permit’s approval, with Alderman John Matthews voting against it due to no LLC form being properly provided. Despite this, the permit has officially been approved and moved forward by the Board of Mayor & Aldermen in Kimball.
