Kathy Ann Pece, 73 of Jasper was called home on Thursday, June 12. On March 14, 1952, she was born to James M. Crabtree and Anna Dee Summers Crabtree in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Kathy was a long-time employee for Ingles Supermarket and a member of Church of Christ in Jasper. She was married to Rickey Pece until his death. Kathy loved sitting on the back porch with her beloved dogs, Luna and Bandit. She loved her family and spending time with them.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Dee Summers Crabtree.
Left to cherish her memories are her father James M. Crabtree, son Eric (Jamie) Webb, daughter Kellye (Todd) Daniel, brothers Terry (Mary) Crabtree and Bill Tate, grandchildren Justin (Sarah) Bell, Emily, Amy and Brett Webb, great grandchildren Jaxon and Grayson Bell, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services were also held on Friday, June 13 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Bruce Leonard who officiated.
