Joy “Kathy” Katherine Plowman, 67 of Scottsboro, Alabama was called home on Tuesday, June 24. On February 16, 1958, she was born to the late James F. Lee and Charlotte Jefferies Lee in Jonesville, Louisiana. Kathy graduated from T. J. High School in Port Arthur, Texas. She worked as a Phlebotomist at South Pittsburg Hospital. Kathy was a very caring and giving person. She loved Tennessee football, Dr. Pepper, cooking and was an avid Kid Rock fan. Most of all, Kathy loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and her dogs, Asia and Alaska.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father James F. Lee and mother Charlotte Jefferies Lee.
Left to cherish her memories are her fiancé Spencer Forbuss, sons Keith Lee and Melvin (Lacy) Plowman, daughter Nicole Plowman, brothers James Lee and Jeff (Sabrina) Lee, sisters Nedra Pace and Jackie (Roland) Boudreaux, grandchildren Kaitlin Lee, Kirsten Lee, Justin Daniel, Hailey Lee, Bayne Lee, James Robert Lee, Grayson Plowman and Oliver Plowman, grand cats, great grandchild Cohen Beene, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services were also on Saturday, June 28 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
