Joseph Lynn Tate, 64 of Jasper was called home on Friday, September 6. Joseph was born to the late John Douglas Tate and Betty Evans Tate on September 8, 1959. He worked as an electrician for the Marion County Board of Education. Joseph loved riding motorcycles with his friends and singing karaoke. He was a very sociable person and loved his family and spending time with them.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Joyce Taylor.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Jeremy (Nicole) Jones, Matthew (Kaila) Tate, Joseph (Ashley) Tate; brothers, Steven (Joyce) Tate, Chester (Betty) Tate; grandchildren, Alexis Bolton, Joseph Gabriel Tate, Marley Newsom, Evie Jones, Emma Swafford, Easton Jones, Elliana Newsom, Betty-Katherine Tate, several nieces, nephews, other family members, and special friends.
