Jose Angel Dominguez, 66 of Jasper was called home on Thursday, February 26. Born on April 30, 1959 in Jesus Maria, Mexico, he was the beloved son of Baltazar Dominguez and Serafina Saucedo. Jose built his life on hard work, loyalty, and a deep love for the outdoors. A dedicated heavy equipment operator with Hiwassee Construction Company, he took pride in every job he did. He was a “real deal” cowboy. In 1989, Jose moved to the Jasper area and quickly found a place that felt like home. He stayed because he loved the community, the land, and the life he built here. He was a man who was never idle, always working with his hands, his heart, and his unwavering determination. Above all, Jose cherished his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, grilling for the people he cared about, his horses, and sharing simple, joyful moments with those he loved most. His presence was steady, strong, and full of warmth. Jose leaves behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and love, a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
