Jeffrey “Jeff” Ray Whitson, 64 of South Pittsburg passed away on Monday, December 22 at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jeff was born on November 03, 1961 in Nashville, Tennessee. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, Tennessee football, and rock and roll music. Jeff was known for his love of sports, music, and the simple pleasures of life, and he will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, father Estell Z. Whitson and mother Helen Sue Railey, as well as his sister Linn Beck and his brother Brian Whitson.
Survivors include his stepfather Jim Railey, sisters Becky York and Kim Poe, and several dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6 at 1 p.m. at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
