Postmarked March 2,1937 this real picture postcard of the Jasper Tourist Home was known locally as the Shoemate Tourist Court since it was built of river rock by R. C. Shoemate. There was an Esso service station adjacent to this property. Long after the tourist home was no more, the property was sold to Citizens State Bank.
