James Drenon Williams, 86

James Drenon Williams, 86, of Ooltewah, Tennessee was called home on Friday, March 28.  On August 18, 1938, James was born to Opal Vaughn Lawson in Jacksonville, Alabama.  He served in the United States Navy.  He worked for Cherry Point as an Airplane Mechanic before his retirement.  James was the best and most honest person.  He loved watching westerns and playing Solitaire.  He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.  James was a fighter through many illnesses to the end.

James is preceded in death by his mother Opal Vaughn Lawson and brother Edward Williams.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Ann Lawson Williams, sons James D. Williams, Jr. and Stevie Williams, daughters Larrie Howard, Penny Howard, Debbie (James) Whitmire, grandchildren Elizabeth Whitmire, Jerry Fitzgerald Jr., Jacob Howard, several nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and special friends.
