James Doyle “Butch” Maynor, 60

James Doyle “Butch” Maynor, 60, of Kimball passed away at home on Thursday, April 3 with his wife Jill by his side.

Butch was a 1982 graduate of South Pittsburg High School. He was a machinist for Valmont Company for several years.  He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to ride his razor in the woods with Bobby Gudger and other friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Maynor and Gayle and Jerry Wayne Phillips.

Survivors include his significant other Jill Elmore, two children, with son Jackson (Kayla) Maynor and daughter Tabitha Maynor, stepdaughter Breanna Belcher, three grandchildren Aidyn Grissom, Kadyn Norman and Cooper Maynor, brother Chip (Brenda) Maynor, niece Haleigh (Joe) Saltich, nephew Will (Amanda) Maynor, as well as special friends, including Bobby and Linda Gudger.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, April 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
