Jacqueline “Jackie” Drabbant Jordan, 86

Jacqueline “Jackie” Drabbant Jordan, 86 of Whitwell was called home on Sunday, August 31.  On April 11, 1939, Jackie was born to the late James Hoosier and Mildred Hall Lawson in Jasper.  Jackie was a homemaker and was married to Clifford Jordan until his death. She loved being outdoors, mowing, and watching wildlife. When Jackie spoke, we all listened. She taught the kids how to cook and how to be successful in life. We were all well prepared to handle what all of life sent us. Jackie was both a loving mother and loving person.

Jackie is preceded in death by her father James Hoosier, mother Mildred Hall Lawson and husband Clifford Jordan.

Left to forever cherish her memories are her sons William “Peanut” (Vanita) Williams, Wayne (Amy) Jordan, Troy (Deborah) Williams, Steve (Edith) Jordan, Jeff Williams, James Drabbant and Mike Ragan, daughters Cindy (Tom) Hampton, Sharon Nance, Cyndi Webb and Cindy Williams, grandchildren Justin Price Evans, Aaron Williams, Kaleb Williams, Amber Hammontree, Brandy Couch, Tamara Berry, Jacqueline Olgibee, Dakota Jordan, Candace Payne, Kyle Ragan Max Ragan, Belle Ragan, Heather Samples, Ashley Potts, Felicia Williams, Kayla Pearson, Sean Evans, Leigh Lawrence and Brooke Yates, several great grandchildren as well as great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, September 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.

Funeral services were also held on Friday, September 5 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Ramsey and Pastor Chris VanAllman who officiated.

Jackie was laid to rest on Friday, September 5 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper immediately after the funeral service was held.

Pallbearers were Tommy Womack, Gabe Hammontree, Dakota Jordan, Josh Berry, Aaron Williams and Juan Arguello.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, Tennessee 37347, 423-942-9500.
