Titled “Hardy’s Addition” this postcard from about 1910 shows several homes near the foot of the Cumberland Mountains in Richard City. The back of the card reads, “Hardy’s Addition adjoins Richard City on the West and lies at the Eastern foot of mountain, thus the early morning sun drives away all fog and shaded by mountain in early afternoon. It is supplied by pure freestone water from mountain spring”.
