Gregory “Greg” Clayton O’Rear, 52

Gregory “Greg” Clayton O’Rear, 52 of Graysville, Tennessee was called home on Wednesday, December 10. Born on August 27, 1973 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Greg was the beloved son of James “Jim” O’Rear and Debra Bailey O’Rear. Greg dedicated much of his career to the food industry, working for Jack’s, where he was known for his hard work and friendly spirit. He shared his life with his wife, Tinna Miller O’Rear, with whom he built a loving home filled with warmth and laughter.  Outside of work, Greg found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, riding skateboards, motorcycles and had a passion for woodworking and discovering pieces of old furniture to refurbish and bring back to life. Above all, Greg cherished his family. He loved spending time with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.  Greg’s life was marked by kindness, devotion, and a deep love for those around him. He will be remembered not only for his talents and hobbies, but for the way he made others feel valued and loved.

Greg is preceded in death by his father James “Jim” O’Rear.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother Debra Bailey O’Rear, wife Tinna Miller O’Rear, daughter Kelsey (Richard) Rutherford, brother Grant O’Rear, stepdaughters Lillian Clayton, Christina Clayton and Olivia Clayton, grandchildren Paisleigh Gray, Mya Rose Rutherford, Colsen Levi Rutherford, Bentley Carroll, Mason Carroll, Grace Carroll, Colt Johnson and Charlie Poteet, as well as several other family members and special friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.

Funeral services were also on Saturday, December 13 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Ray Dotson who officiated.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, Tennessee 37347, 423-942-9500.
