Gilliam Albert Shadrick, 93

Gilliam Albert Shadrick, 93 of Jasper was called home on Friday, July 18.  On September 20, 1931, Albert was born to the late Elmer Shadrick and Annie Pearl Cash Shadrick. Albert was married to Amber Dyer Shadrick and worked for Air Liquide before his retirement.  He was a good husband, father, and an all-around good man.  Albert had lots of friends.  He loved hunting, target shooting and painting.  Most of all, Albert loved his family very much.

Albert is preceded in death by his father Elmer Shadrick, mother Annie Pearl Cash Shadrick, son Lamar Shadrick and brother Elmer Shadrick, Jr.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Amber Dyer Shadrick, daughters Martricia (Roger) Rollins, Della Smith, and Roxanne (Ronnie) Pickett, son Joseph (September) Kilgore, brother Joseph (Else) Shadrick, sister Savannah Jacobus, five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, as well as other family members and special friends.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23 at 10 a.m. at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, with Chaplain Steve Allert who officiated.

Pallbearers were Shane Smith, Zach Bond, Ronnie Pickett, Roger Rollins and Will Kopp.
