George Kemp, a resident of the Valley View Assisted Living Center in Whitwell, was recently chosen Veteran of the Month by Jasper Memorial Post 6362 of the VFW. Mr. Kemp is a U.S Navy veteran having served aboard the USS Saratoga from 1964 to 1967. His honorable service to our nation merits this recognition by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and its members.
