The City of Bridgeport Community Market/Yard Sale will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 6th. There is no charge to set up. There will be everything from crafts to produce and much more. The city plans on doing this the first Saturday of each month through the summer.

Horse Show, April 6th hosted by Whitwell Saddle Club, 15201 Hwy 28, Whitwell at 5 p.m. Themed as “Tough Enough to Wear Pink!”, an adult and youth contestant will win Best Dressed in pink. Cost is $5 to enter the horse show as a contestant and $3 admission for spectators, 6 and under are free

The National Cornbread Festival will be held Saturday & Sunday, April 27th & 28th in downtown South Pittsburg. $10 per day admission at the gate. Pre-School children, free.
