Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a non-profit organization providing free beds to kids 3-17 who do not have a bed of their own. Currently they are 12 beds short of providing 1,000 to our area children. Please plan on attending this event at North Jackson High School and lend a helping hand.

Demonstrations of pottery, knitting, painting, woodcarving, leather working and other crafts, plus food trucks, live music and arts, crafts and produce vendors. 10am-3pm cst. Free admission
Includes chainsaw carving, agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, carnival midway and music all week. Gates open at 5pm cst Mon - Fri, 10am cst Saturday. $5 admission ages 6 and up there is an extra charge for the carnival $5 parking
Commission meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month at the Lawson Building, 300 Ridley Avenue, Jasper at 6pm.
Part 2 of the History of Marion County will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at 5 p.m. at Jasper Elementary School, 495 Warrior Drive. Sponsored by the Jasper History Museum with guest speaker, Linda Moss Mines.
3rd Annual Festival - This is a charity event and will be benefiting United Veterans Council of Bedford County. Mule displays, educational exhibits, homesteader demonstrations, live music, crafts. Admission by donation - all times are central.
