Starting on Friday, November 21 and lasting until Saturday, January 17, the Chattanooga Zoo will be hosting its Asian Lantern Festival every Wednesday night through Sunday night, with additional dates to be included for the holidays. Ticket prices vary for adults, children, and groups depending upon whether as a member or non-member of the zoo.
On Saturday, November 22, Jasper Highlands’ Pat Summit will be the site of the new Artisan Market event. The market is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all are invited to attend.
Beginning November 21 & 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Vintage Rose Antiques’ Christmas at the Cottage event in Whitwell is making its weekly return for the holidays every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. until Saturday, December 13.
The Whitwell Senior Center will be hosting a Thanksgiving Soup Dinner at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 24. All are welcome to attend.

Starting on Friday, November 28, Ruby Falls in Chattanooga will be kicking its annual Holidays at Ruby Falls festivities. The activities present will last until Christmas Eve. Whitwell High School will play host to a Christmas 5k Run & Walk event Saturday, November 29 at 8 a.m. Participants are encouraged to dress in Christmas themed attire.
Grace Baptist Church in South Pittsburg will be hosting a Church in the Burg mass on Sunday, November 30 at 4 p.m. The mass will be held in Downtown South Pittsburg at Tower Stage and is subject to change depending on the weather.
West Valley Volunteer Fire Department (WVVFD) will be hosting its annual Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the department’s fire hall on 5000 Old Dunlap Road. All are invited to attend.
