The town of Jasper will be hosting registration for this year’s Flag Football season starting Tuesday, July 1 and ending on Thursday, July 31. Carolyn Stewart Public Library will be hosting this year’s summer reading program starting Wednesday, June 4 up until its sixth week on Wednesday, July 9, with the last day concluding with a pizza party and movie. The Jasper Municipal Library Board will be holding a special-called meeting on Thursday, June 12 at 5 p.m. at Carolyn Stewart Public Library’s Community Room. Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on Friday, June 20th at 9 p.m. on Highway 27 by Tanner Trail. The checkpoint is contingent upon given weather conditions and manpower.
