The town of Jasper will be hosting registration for this year’s Flag Football season starting Tuesday, July 1 and ending on Thursday, July 31. Cost of registration is $50 per child and the program will be for both boys and girls of age groups between kindergarten and 8th grade. All practices will officially begin on

The Southern Outlaw Dragboat Association (SODA) will be hosting the Outboard Nationals-Thunder on the Lake drag boat race on both Saturday, October 11 at 9 a.m., as well as Sunday, October 12 at 5 p.m. at Marion County Park. All are welcome to attend.
On Sunday, January 18 at 9:30 a.m., Outlaw Offroad will meet for the Prentice Cooper Newbie Day event at First Volunteer Bank in Whitwell. All are welcome to participate for the off-road event, which will take place at nearby Prentice Cooper State Forest.
