The Vietnam Travelling Memorial Wall will take place on Thursday, August 14 through Monday, August 18 in Franklin County at Winchester’s City Park on 1561 Philip Fulmer Parkway. Various organizations and politicians will be hosting the memorial in dedication to those who have served our nation during the Vietnam War, including Disable American Veterans (DAV)
Now until Saturday, August 30, Orena Humphreys Public Library is hosting a Travelling Trunk Exhibit from the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center. All are welcome to attend, and the exhibit features VR headsets that allows users to listen and experience the stories told from Holocaust survivors. The Treasured Quilts of Sequatchie Valley event will be held Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sulphur Spring Global Methodist Church in Whitwell. Admission is $15 including lunch.
