The National Cornbread Festival will be held Saturday & Sunday, April 27th & 28th in downtown South Pittsburg. $10 per day admission at the gate. Pre-School children, free. The carnival starts on Tuesday, April 23rd with wristbands Tuesday - Thursday. Friday and Saturday will be tickets only for the carnival. Street dance Friday, April 26th.
26th Annual Pancake Breakfast at the National Cornbread Festival, hosted by the South Pittsburg Rotary Club, Sunday, April 28th from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the NCF. Second Annual Whitwell Mtn Community Yardsaleapalooza, Saturday, May 4th at the Miners Memorial Park, 6395 Hwy 108, Whitwell (Griffith Creek Community). Set up at 7 a.m., shopping begins at 8 a.m. There will be BBQ plates, lemonade, cinnamon rolls, icees, cookies, hot dogs, chips, baby clothes, junk, face painting for kids, clothes, home canned goods,
9th Annual South Pittsburg Rotary Club Duck Race, Saturday, May 4th. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. The race begins at the TN River SR 156 bridge in South Pittsburg. Contact a Rotarian for tickets or more information.

2nd Annual Beans, Greens and Bluegrass at Jasper First Baptist, 108 W. 3rd St., Jasper, Saturday, May 18th at 5:30 p.m. Special guests, the Edmons Family. This is a benefit for the Women’s Ministry Conference & Outreach. A $10 ticket includes dinner and entertainment. Limited seating available.
