Beene-Pearson will have a class on herbs and mushrooms in the wild. Paige Parker will do a presentation on three different herbs/mushrooms, including how to identify, prepare, and process them, demonstrating how to make a tincture and making other products using them.
Held in the Torian Room at the duPont Library on the Sewanee campus, professor Stephanie McCarter and German translator, Rachel Reynolds will speak about their experiences in translating foreign texts, both ancient & modern.
