The Vietnam Travelling Memorial Wall will take place on Thursday, August 14 through Monday, August 18 in Franklin County at Winchester’s City Park on 1561 Philip Fulmer Parkway. Various organizations and politicians will be hosting the memorial in dedication to those who have served our nation during the Vietnam War, including Disable American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 71, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1893, Tennessee Senator Janice Bowling and Winchester Mayor Sean Crabtree. The memorial will be open to the public for 24 hours during its visit within the area. An opening ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 14.
