The first ever annual Miner’s Memorial Day event will be hosted on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 6395 Highway 108 in Whitwell. Various activities and vendors will be present during the event, and monument dedicated to miners who’ve worked on Whitwell Mountain will be unveiled at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
