Eula Mae Garner, 100

Eula Mae Garner, 100, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on Monday, February 5. On December 9, 1923, she was born to the late John P. Parker and Zona Moree Parker. Eula was married to the late James R. Garner, Jr. for seventy-two years. She went back to school at the age of thirty-seven to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for Erlanger Hospital and later Heritage Manor Nursing Home for several years before retirement. Eula enjoyed crocheting, she also had a passion for flowers and gardening. Most of all, Eula loved spending time with her family.

Eula is preceded in death by her parents and husband, brothers, John P. Parker, Jr.; Max Parker; sisters, Helen Quinn, Gladys Wilkerson, Rosetta Bain and grandchildren, Anthony Rosette and Richard Andrew Rosette. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Alice (Billy) Smalley, Dianna Ruston; grandchildren, Sandy Smalley, Jason Ruston, Brian Ruston; great grandchildren, Blake, Kayla and Hunter Ruston along with other family members and special friends.

There was a graveside service on Thursday, February 8, at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chattanooga, Tennessee with Pastor Bob Hopkins officiating.
