Edward “Keith” Robinson, 63 of Jasper passed away suddenly on May 2. On October 27, 1961 he was born to the late Edward Bennett Robinson and Billie B. Robinson. He was the President of the Laborers Union Local 846 for 17 years and was married to Sandy Robinson. Keith loved coaching all his children’s sports as they grew up, and now his grandchildren attend every game. He enjoyed fishing and loved watching the South Pittsburg Pirates and Tennessee Vols play football. Keith was a loving father, husband and grandfather who adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with his family. He had a huge personality, loved aggravating people, loved music, working in his yard and being outdoors.
Keith is preceded in death by his father Edward Bennett Robinson, mother Billie B. Robinson, grandparents Bill and Izola Crabtree, as well as Bennett and Edna Robinson.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Sandy Robinson, sons Cody (Malorie) Robinson, Chase (Lauren) Robinson, Robert Thomas, Carl (Jaclyn) Thomas and Ben (Samantha) Robinson, daughter Jennifer Thomas, brother David (Becky) Robinson, sister Candy (Kirk) Hudson, grandchildren Brylee, Kollier, Ansleigh, Grayson, Thomas, Eleanor and Kyntlie, his dogs Hank and Annie, niece Heather (Ben) Canales, nephew Zack Hudson, great nephews Beckett Robinson, Blaine Canales and Stone Canales, great nieces Lily Gothard and Arianna Robinson, aunt and uncle Lexie and Andy Harey, as well as other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
The funeral service was also held on Thursday, May 8 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Jim Mulkey who officiated.
Keith was entombed on Thursday, May 8 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper immediately after the funeral service was held.
Pallbearers were Bryan Tate, Josh Miller, Rhyan Buckner, Skipper Gore, Jerry Don Parker and Tim Rorex, with honorary pallbearers being Gary Frame and Mike Durham.
