Jasper Memorial Post 6362 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has selected Dot Rogers as their Citizen of the Week for flying the American flag in front of her home every day. Her patriotism and pride in our nation is deserving of the VFW’s Certificate of Appreciation for keeping the stars and stripes waving daily. Her son, Skip Rogers is a U.S. Army veteran and former member of the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. He and his wife Donna ensure that the flag is maintained year round.
