Clents Restaurant and Gift Shop Fireworks-Country Hams as it appeared in 1981, was located next to Interstate 24 at the Martin Springs Exit. In 1983 portions of the movie, Star Man, was filmed here with several local residents serving as extras in the film. Star Man was released in 1984 starring Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen. While no longer in business, Clents Restaurant will long be remembered as the backdrop for several scenes in the movie, Star Man.
