Charlotte Rackler, 57

Charlotte Rackler, 57 of Bridgeport, Alabama was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 9.  On July 13, 1967, she was born to the late Charles Hurst and Linda Lamar Hurst in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Charlotte attended Bridgeport Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She was married to James Rackler until his death.  Charlotte was a really good person.  She loved elephants and learning all about them.  Charlotte was a shy and very sweet person.  She loved church when she could attend.  Most of all Charlotte loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her father Charles Hurst, mother Linda Lamar Hurst, husband James Rackler, brother Johnny Hurst, sister Linda Hurst and grandson Charlton Hutchenson.

Left to cherish her memories are her step-sons Tony (Sandy) Rackler and Dennis (Toni) Rackler, daughters Christian Kirby, Morgan Hurst and Sonja Rackler, Christia McGuire, step-daughters Karen Rackler and Hazel Rackler, brothers Dale Chadwick and Jesse Hurst, sister Margaret Chadwick, grandchildren Baylon Hutchenson, Isaac Hutchenson, Lindel and Darrin Gibbs as well as Charlina and Zarya, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.

Funeral services were also held on Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Danny Shrader who officiated.

Charlotte was entombed on Thursday, June 12 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper after the funeral service was held.

Pallbearers were Dustin Gibbs, Baylon Hutcheson, Patrick McGuire, Isaac Hutcheson and Craig Hutchenson.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Road Jasper, Tennessee 37347, 423-942-9500.
