Charlotte “Diane” Hill, 73

Charlotte “Diane” Hill, age 73 of New Hope passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Jasper, Diane was the cherished daughter of the late Louie and Opal Hill. She embraced life with warmth and grace, finding joy in being a devoted homemaker and spending time with her beloved family. Diane had a deep love for Elvis Presley’s music, treasured traveling with family and friends, and especially adored the fall season—finding peace and beauty in the changing leaves.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louie and Opal Hill and her brother Thomas D. Hill.

Diane is survived by her loving husband Steve Raulston, sister Doris (Rachel) Stockman of Bryant, Alabama, nieces Melody (Ben) Castleberry and Sarah (Joey) Johnson of Higdon, Alabama, great-niece Chole (Avery) Tinker of Gallipolis, Ohio, great-nephew Caleb Johnson of Higdon, Alabama and many dear friends.

Diane will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love for her family, as well as the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Public visitation was held on Friday, October 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.
