West Tennessee-based commercial linen and cleaning supplies company, C&B Linen, is expanding into Southeast Tennessee, acquiring dedicated office and service space in Chattanooga and hiring an experienced local team to assure superior service of its high-quality products.
Sales representative Michael Wild and delivery specialist Spenser Chartrand will operate out of a 4,400-square-foot facility in Red Bank. They will focus on business development and forging regional relationships in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia, starting with Hamilton, Marion and Bradley counties.
C&B is already well-established in West and Middle Tennessee as the go-to partner for highest-quality linen service and cleaning supplies. Adding a dedicated East Tennessee business office and service facility allows the family-owned firm to extend its exemplary customer service to cover the entire state of Tennessee and beyond.
“As we continue to expand our operations across the Midsouth, we need experienced partners who know the business and the community to ensure and uphold our high standards of quality and service. Mike and Spenser are the right people to spearhead those efforts in and around Southeast Tennessee,” said Tommy Legins, Executive Vice President at Wayne Halfway House, Inc., the parent company of C&B Linen. “Mike’s many years of experience in the restaurant industry and close personal and professional connections in the Chattanooga area make him the perfect person to oversee our expansion in the region, and Spenser is an experienced route specialist who is deeply familiar with the community.”
Wild comes to C&B from restaurant and bar supply company Kahlua Bay, where he was area sales supervisor for three years. Prior to that, he worked for 22 years as the Chattanooga-area training manager for CiCi’s Pizza. Chartrand is a veteran on-site service provider in the Chattanooga area who spent the last four years as a driver and service provider for document-shredding firm Shred-it and confidential document-management company Iron Mountain.
“I’m very excited about the growth potential of C&B, and of its sister company, dumpster rental and waste-management firm RaeKar,” said Wild. “There are a lot of different avenues to explore, and I see so much potential to grow with the company, meet more people, and educate them about the C&B difference. I love that I have the opportunity to help build something from the ground up in my hometown.”
