
Carolyn Ann West, 87 of Jasper, a devoted mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ, entered her eternal rest on Friday, December 12. Born in Stevenson, Alabama, Carolyn lived a life marked by love, service, and unwavering faith. She was married to Paul Eugene West Sr. until his death. Carolyn worked for many years at the Marion County Courthouse and was a cherished member of the Kimball Church of Christ, where her dedication to the Lord was evident in all she did. Carolyn’s life was a testament to the words of Scripture: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family and church will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through her family.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her father Robert Glover, mother Gladys Lorene Hackworth Glover, husband Paul Eugene West Sr. and daughter Teresa Looney.
Left cherish her memories are her sons Gene (Elizabeth) West, David West and Paul (Lucy) West, daughter Holly Henegar, brother Jerre (Shirley) Glover, sister Judy Blevins, son-in-law Tim Looney along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will forever treasure her memory.
Visitation was on Wednesday, December 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services were also on Wednesday, December 17 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Billy Watkins who officiated.
Carolyn was laid to rest on Wednesday, December 17 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, immediately after the funeral services were held.
Pallbearers were Brett Looney, Bartt Looney, Tristan West, Austin West, Carter West and Alex Kirkendoll.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, Tennessee 37347, 423-942-9500.
