Bobby Huffstuttler, 73 of Guild passed away on Friday, August 29. On June 16, 1952, he was born to the late Daniel Huffstuttler and Rebecca Hicks Huffstuttler. Bobby left behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to his family. He dedicated his life to providing for his loved ones, often working seven days a week. He shared nearly 50 years of marriage with his beloved wife, whom he cherished and grieved deeply after her passing. A proud father and grandfather, he found his greatest joy in giving selflessly to his children and grandchildren. Known for his talents in the kitchen, his green thumb in the garden, as well as his love of the outdoors, he filled life with flavor, beauty, and adventure. Whether growing vegetables and flowers, cooking meals, or camping by the river and catching fish, he embraced every moment with generosity and joy. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, whose love and sacrifices shaped the lives of those he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father Daniel Huffstuttler, mother Rebecca Hicks Huffstuttler, wife Faye, son Michael Dean Huffstuttler and brother Walter Lee Huff.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons Bobby Dean Huffstuttler Jr. and Chris Huffstuttler, daughters Angela (Darin) Morelock, Michelle (George) Wilson, Jennifer (Gordon) Evans and Melissa Huffstuttler (Donald Swafford), brothers Daniel Huffstuttler Jr. and Joe Allen “Butch” Huffstuttler, sisters Faye (Jeff) Huff and B. B. (Ronnie) McNabb, grandchildren Derrick Allison, Tiffany Morelock, Alexis (Addison) Beene, Stella Huffstuttler, Callie Huffstuttler, Nick Wilson, Allie Wilson, Coy Swafford, Mason Swafford and Bo Dean Swafford; seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, as well as other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services were also held on Saturday, September 6 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Nick Pickett who officiated.
Bobby was laid to rest on Saturday, September 6 in Jasper within a private burial with his children and grandchildren only after the funeral service.
Pallbearers were Derrick Allison, Coy Swafford, Mason Swafford, Nick Wilson and Dakota Castle.
