Betty Jane Wooten, 92, of Jasper, was called home on Tuesday, January 21. On September 15, 1932, she was born to the late James F. Pearson and Evelyn Crass Pearson. Betty was a homemaker and was married to Charles Frank Wooten, Sr. before his death. She had a green thumb and loved her flowers and growing herbs. She loved reading and working crossword puzzles and went to the library every week. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Betty is preceded in death by her father, James F. Pearson; mother, Evelyn Crass Pearson; husband, Charlie F. Wooten; sons, Beecher Harrison, Charles Wooten, Jr.; and brother, James R. Pearson.
Left to cherish her memories are son, Brian Wooten; daughter, Patricia L. Cantrell; sisters, Myrtle A. Gabbert, Geogianna Pearson; grandchildren, Robert Cantrell; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
