Annette Lambert, age 84, of Jasper, Tennessee died Wednesday, January 10.
Annette was born in Jasper, Tennessee on August 7, 1939. She graduated high school from Marion County High School in 1957. After graduation, Annette attended McKenzie Business School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She started her career at Hamilton National Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Annette was a loving and devoted wife to Ivan Lambert for 58 years. She was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother and adored by her entire family. She retired from Rivoli Mills in Jasper, Tennessee in 2000. Annette was a member of Baptist Hill Baptist Church in Jasper, Tennessee. Annette loved to cook and sew.
Survivors include her; daughter, Kimberly Plummer Connaughton and Son-In Law, Jeff Connaughton; granddaughter, Emilee Plummer; sister, Ollie Campbell, sister; Glenda (Roy) Barton; sister, Clara Sue (Rick) Kilgore; sister-in-law, Cathie Brown, along with several nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Lambert; parents, Tom, and Glinnie (Thomas) Brown as well as brothers, Eugene, and Wesley Brown.
Visitation will be held in Jasper, at Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Mrs. Lambert will be laid to rest at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
Mrs. Lambert’s nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful staff at Signature Healthcare of South Pittsburg and Monteagle as well as Hospice of Chattanooga for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Annette during her stay. We also want to thank Andy Campbell (nephew) for arranging the beautiful family spray.
