Sheena Alyse Carter, 39 of Rossville, Georgia was called home on Wednesday, March 25. Born on June 13, 1986 to Michael Reynolds and Veltina Spears Reynolds, Sheena brought joy, light, and compassion into the lives of everyone who knew her. Sheena worked as a server at IHOP, a job she truly loved. Her cheerful spirit and genuine care of others made her a favorite among customers and coworkers alike. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, always taking time to check on anyone who needed a kind word or a helping hand. Above all, Sheena cherished her family. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her children and loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love. Her presence was a source of comfort and her heart was always open. Sheena’s legacy lives on in the kindness she showed, the joy she shared, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
Sheena is preceded in death by her mother Veltina Spears Reynolds and husband Nate Carter.
Left to cherish her memories are her father Michael (Robin) Reynolds Sr., son JaMont’e Dandy, daughter Nashaya Carter, brother Corey (Ashley) Reynolds, sister Caranda Reynolds, several nephews, as well as other family members and friends.
Visitation is Saturday, April 4 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CST (1 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET) at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services are also on Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m. CST (2 p.m. ET) in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor James C. Jackson officiating.
