Tracey Daniel Huckabee, 46, of Jasper, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 5.
Tracey was outgoing, quick-witted, and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He loved his family and friends fiercely. He was a truck driver by profession, a job he loved. Tracey loved to be outdoors; he spent his time fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Vols.
He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Huckabee; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Alice (Tiny) Huckabee; maternal grandfather, Howard Jordan, and uncles, Raymond and Pat Jordan.
Left to treasure his memories are fiancée, Brooke Moore; stepchildren, Hailey and Hunter Moore; mother, Mary Huckabee, stepfather, Terry Vanallman; sister, Lori Robinson; stepsister, Brittany Vanallman; stepbrother, Derek Vanallman; maternal grandmother, Lorene Jordan; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and best friend and neighbors, Adam, Erica, and Sullivan; and last but not least, his dog Grayson Lee.
A graveside service will be on Friday, November 8, at 11 a.m. at the James Cemetery in Bryant, Alabama with Pastor Brice Burkhalter officiating.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Thursday, November 7, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the graveside service at James Cemetery in Bryant, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Adam Springs, Johnny May, Josh King, Matt Rogers, Michael Canales and Michael Rector.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to SRM, Radius Recycling, and all those who have supported them during this trying time.
